In lieu of our weekly lab hours on Wednesday, February 21st, README members will have a meet-up near USC prior to “Algorithms of oppression, algorithms of liberation: A conversation with Logic Magazine” featuring Sarah T. Roberts, Moira Weigel, and Miriam Posner, and Safiya Noble at the USC Wallis Annenberg Hall.
We’ll meet at Mercado La Paloma, a short walk from the event at USC. There are a number of counter service food options in the market including vegan Ethiopian, burgers, tacos, Thai, et al.
If you need a ride, you can coordinate with other attendees on our EtherPad for the event. Make sure also to RSVP for the panel itself.
